After a long and busy season of golf I can report that we have made 62 birdies for Lobstar. NO eagles, sorry!!!!!
Together we raised €520 which has been paid to Lob'Star. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

The year was a great fun, I learned so much.
I hit so many great shots throughout the year and some really good rounds of golf.

On 14 August 2011 Maandbeker, I enjoyed the round golfers dream about with a bogey-free 66 (in rubbish weather) on Het Rijk van Margraten. The Course record for an Amateur player.
65 is the course record by a professional player also recorded this summer.

My commitment to improve is stronger than ever and although I have not scored consistently well this year (except for that one round) I can see and feel the improvements. I am really excited about what I have learned and the way forward.

Most of the season was dedicated to learning and finding out why I hit it poorly in certain pressure situations.
What was happening in body and mind.....?
Its a fascinating process, learning so much about myself, my game and THE GAME
The more I think about and play the game the more fascinating it becomes

To summarize the season I was:

Club Champion Matchplay MIG

2nd placed in the 3 other Championships
(Het Rijk van Margraten Strokeplay, Het Rijk van Margraten Matchplay and MIG Strokeplay)

2nd in the Hoogwegtbeker 2011 with Lous Polak

Winner of 3 Maandbekers (2 on Margraten and 1 on MIG)

Winner of the summer eclectic on MIG with 67 strokes

Winner of the Heren van het jaar 2011 MIG

Winner of the Herendag Eclectic on MIG with 64 strokes

My handicap at the end of the season was 3.1 and closes the season at 3.7.
My handicap history looks like a real roller coaster ride and i can tell you it felt like it too.

In all competitions this year I made 3 eagles and almost 140 birdies, and too many bogeys.
not bad but still lots to improve....

I am happy that the season is over and looking forward to doing other things through the winter including some fitness training, but I am also excited and very much looking forward to the 2012 season..

4 more birdies for Lob-Star.

After 4 rounds of golf we are upto 9 birdies total.
still a lot of improving to do, my game is very inconsistent

Ok, we started the season on the 16th of april with the Maandbeker in Margraten.
A sloppy round with not much too report. But happily 2 birdies for Lob-Star.

My 2nd round on the 1st of May in MIG was also a sloppy beginning, with a bogey, double bogey start. Then things improved and I managed to get it round in 74, 2 over par and 3 more birdies for Lob-Star. I am proud of the round after that start.
The back nine was pretty decent with good ball striking in stiff winds. I made no bogeys and made 2 birds. Cool.
